Puzzle of childhood

Scents are time-capsules. This is a project about personal but shareable memory. To me, smells help me time travel, and I tried to capture my childhood memories with different scents. Those smells are No.1 the smell of my childhood laundry detergent, No.2 the smell of test paper, No.3 the public restroom smell in primary school, No.4 the smell of orchard, No.5 the smell of playground, No.6 the smell of the garden, No. 7 the smell of my favorite fruity candy, No.8 the smell of my favorite creamy candy, No.9 the smell of cola slush which was selling outside of my middle school. For this design, this olfactory art is a smell game. The audience may combine those puzzles randomly by themselves to find a better connection to their own childhood memories. They will be able to make thousands of unique smells from the different combinations of puzzles. Meanwhile, there are containers of perfume-oil on the side for the viewers to play with.
